An Unusual Sighting


This is the second winter I have noticed a pair of Purple Finches at the feeders. Very unusual as these birds do not over-winter here. I've heard that there have also been sightings of Goldfinches! I hope they have found feeders filled with nyger seed so they can survive. Photo ©Deborah Kirby, 2008.
